Willowbrook in Bridgeville, Delaware offers seven ceremony locations across about 20 acres: Willowbrook Hall, the Courtyard under bistro lights, the Pond, the Waterfall for micro ceremonies, the Woods with its aged stone wall, the Pavilion, and the new Walk in the Park, where brides enter through hand done black iron doors. There are two weather backups, 250 ceremony chairs are provided, and only one event is hosted per day.

How Seven Ceremony Settings Give Couples More Choice

Every couple has a different vision for their ceremony. Some imagine exchanging vows near the pond. Others picture walking through the black iron doors at Walk in the Park. Some prefer an indoor setting, while others choose the natural surroundings of the woods, courtyard, or pavilion. Each location offers a different setting for your ceremony and photographs.

Willowbrook's Walk in the Park Creates a Distinctive Entrance

One of our newest ceremony locations is Willowbrook's Walk in the Park. The space features hand-done black iron doors that create a memorable ceremony entrance. A bride can walk through these doors as she begins her walk toward the ceremony.

Walk in the Park also provides a photo location on the property. One favorite view shows a bride and groom near the doors with the sunset behind them. Couples visiting Willowbrook can see how this location creates a different entrance experience compared with the pond, courtyard, woods, or indoor ceremony areas.

Your Ceremony Can Take Place in a Setting That Matches Your Vision

Our seven ceremony locations include Willowbrook Hall, Willowbrook Courtyard, Willowbrook Pond, Willowbrook Waterfall, Willowbrook Woods, Willowbrook Pavilion, and Willowbrook's Walk in the Park. The Willowbrook Courtyard is a large concrete patio with bistro lights above the space. Willowbrook Woods features an aged stone wall accent with a natural wooded backdrop. Willowbrook Waterfall is designed for micro ceremonies, while Willowbrook Pond provides another outdoor ceremony option.

Willowbrook Hall offers an indoor ceremony setting, and Willowbrook Pavilion provides an outdoor location that can also serve as a weather backup option. Having multiple ceremony locations allows you to consider your entrance, guest seating, and photography plans before choosing the space that fits your day.

Weather Backup Options Help You Plan Ahead

Weather is an important part of planning an outdoor ceremony. Willowbrook offers two weather backup options: an indoor area under the roof and the Willowbrook Pavilion. Our reception hall is also climate-controlled. Knowing your backup choices ahead of time helps you understand how your ceremony can continue during changing weather conditions. Monthly open houses give couples another chance to become familiar with the property while planning their wedding.

Ceremony Seating and Guest Details Are Already Prepared

Willowbrook can host weddings with up to 250 guests, including the wedding party. Our ceremony setup includes 250 white padded folding chairs. Six ceremony locations are included in the venue price, along with one micro ceremony location.

Guests can access large indoor wheelchair accessible restrooms and easy site access throughout the property. The lighted parking lot accommodates approximately 150 cars. The venue is approximately one mile from the interstate, and multiple hotels are located within approximately two miles for guests traveling to Bridgeville.

Your Ceremony Location Can Also Support Your Photography Plans

Your wedding photos do not have to stay in one area of the property. Willowbrook includes gardens, woods, the pond, fields, courtyard, waterfall, and access to the back forty for photos. Couples can ask our staff about favorite photo locations, and golf cart support for photo locations is available on request. Walk in the Park can provide a special entrance photo opportunity through the black iron doors. Other ceremony locations can also connect naturally with different photo areas across the property.

Choosing the Right Willowbrook Ceremony Location

The best way to understand each ceremony location is to walk through the property and see how each area fits your plans. During your visit, you can look at ceremony entrances, guest seating areas, photo locations, and the details that make each space different.
