Exchanging Vows Beneath the Willowbrook Waterfall in Delaware

When couples visit our property in Bridgeville, they often discover something unexpected tucked into our 20 acres. The Willowbrook Waterfall creates an intimate backdrop that transforms micro ceremonies into something truly memorable. We've watched countless couples choose this secluded spot for their vows, and we understand why it continues to draw those seeking something beyond the traditional.

Creating an Intimate Ceremony Experience at Our Delaware Venue

The waterfall ceremony location serves couples planning micro ceremonies with a naturally private setting. This spot works particularly well when you want your closest family and friends to witness your vows in a space that feels separate from the world. The sound of flowing water creates a soothing, natural backdrop that enhances your vows without distraction.

Planning Your Waterfall Ceremony

We designed the Willowbrook Waterfall as one of our six ceremony locations, specifically for couples who prefer intimate gatherings. When you choose this spot, you'll have access to our 150 white padded folding chairs, though most couples using the waterfall select a smaller arrangement that complements the space's natural scale.

The location works best for smaller wedding parties who appreciate the seclusion it provides. Your photographer will find multiple angles to capture your ceremony, from the flowing water to the surrounding natural elements that frame your vows.

What's Included With Your Waterfall Ceremony

Your ceremony at the Waterfall includes everything offered at our other five ceremony locations. You’ll have our white padded folding chairs arranged for your guest count, and our team will take care of setup and breakdown so you can stay focused on your celebration.

Since we host only one event per day, the Waterfall is exclusively yours during your contracted time. That privacy extends to Willowbrook’s Walk In the Park, where the handcrafted black iron doors and garden pathway create another beautiful option for your ceremony or portraits. You can take your time with photos and enjoy those first moments as newlyweds without ever feeling rushed.

Moving From Ceremony to Reception

After your waterfall ceremony, your guests can transition seamlessly to the cocktail hour and reception. We offer both indoor and outdoor reception options, with our climate-controlled hall accommodating up to 250 guests and our pavilion hosting outdoor receptions for up to 150.

While your guests enjoy cocktails, you and your wedding party can capture portraits by the pond, courtyard, and gardens, with our team guiding the flow so everything feels natural and relaxed.

Getting Ready on Your Wedding Day

Our bridal suite provides six hair and makeup stations with professional lighting, plus a private bathroom and separate dressing area. You can access the suite as early as 8:00 AM on your wedding day, giving you plenty of time to prepare before your waterfall ceremony.

The groom's room sits on the opposite side of our property and includes a lounge area, pool table, and flat-screen TV. Your partner and wedding party can access this space starting at 11:00 AM, creating separate preparation areas that maintain the surprise element for your first look.

Photo Opportunities Throughout Your Wedding Day

Our property near Bridgeville offers countless photo opportunities beyond the waterfall ceremony site. Your photographer can capture images at our pond, throughout the gardens, in the woods, and around the courtyard. We provide golf cart transportation to help you reach the "back forty" for additional photo locations if desired.

The ceremony concludes with you and your wedding party having immediate access to these varied backdrops, making it easy to capture the full range of images you want from your wedding day.

Creating Your Complete Wedding Experience

We've found that couples who choose the waterfall ceremony often appreciate having multiple options within one location. You can start with intimate vows, move to group photos in the gardens, and finish with reception dancing in our climate-controlled hall, all without leaving our property.
